LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Mt. Washington Police Department arrested two teenagers Tuesday afternoon, after police say they showed up at a school with two firearms.

According to arrest reports, police were called to Bullitt East High School just after 2 p.m. after they received a report that two intoxicated subjects were trying to pick up a student there.

When officers arrived, they allegedly found 18-year-old Andrew Marchegion of Jeffersontown, and 19-year-old Kavan Webb of Taylorsville, smelling of marijuana.

For his part, Webb allegedly admitted to having marijuana in his backpack, but that's not all police say they found. Officers say they discovered Xanax, marijuana, scales and .22 caliber rifle rounds.

Police say both Marchegion and Webb were at the school to sell marijuana and Xanax, and that they did so via Webb's 17-year-old girlfriend, who sold drugs to another student and received $15 for them.

Webb admitted to also having marijuana in his vehicle, which was on school property, according to the arrest report, but he told police it belonged to Marchegion. After getting permission to search the vehicle, officers say they found marijuana and two stolen .50-caliber rifles.

Both Marchegion and Webb were arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana, trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, unlawful possession of a weapon on school property and engaging in an unlawful transaction with a minor. Webb is also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both men are currently being held in the Bullitt County Detention Center.

The 17-year-old girl was also charged, according to the reports, but her identity and charges are sealed due to the fact that she is a juvenile.
