LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Louisville Metro Police have arrested a woman after they say she drove drunk with a child present and hit another car.

Latrina Webb was arrested just after 4:30 Thursday morning in the 2300 block of West Market Street, near South 23rd Street, according to police records.

Police say Webb, 24, was driving a 1993 Toyota Camry when she hit the back of another car in the 2200 block of West Market, and then fled the scene following the crash. Police say they found Webb one block away from the scene they were responding to. Police say Webb also had her 3-year-old child and an open bottle of vodka inside the car at the time of the accident.

When officers made contact with Webb, they say she was sitting in the front seat of the Camry. When asked if she had hit another vehicle, police say Webb told them "yes, but not sure if I did hit it or not."

Authorities say they could smell a strong scent of alcohol coming from the car. Police say Webb told them she had just come from the Phoenix Hill Tavern, where she had consumed two alcoholic drinks.

Police say Webb failed multiple sobriety tests at the scene, and that she was driving with a suspended license and no insurance.

Webb is charged with DUI, failure to maintain insurance, driving on a suspended license, and wanton endangerment. Webb is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
