Josh Young back in jail after arrest for failing to appear in court

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Josh Young went back behind bars Thursday night.

Metro Police picked Young up on bench warrant after he didn't show up to court Monday morning for his probation revocation hearing.

Young was acquitted of murdering his stepbrother, Trey Zwicker.

He was placed in a supervised diversion program for five years after being charged with assault in another case.

Because of several run-ins with the law afterwards, prosecutors filed a motion to remove him from the diversion program.

He now faces a two-year sentence.

Young is scheduled for arraignment Friday morning.
