LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Louisville Metro Police arrested a teen they say stole a car and committed armed robbery with a stolen gun.

Desmond Hill, 18, was arrested on Tuesday at 3:15 a.m.

According to police, the car theft happened Sunday evening at the Domino's Pizza located at 8404 Preston Highway. Police say Hill stole a vehicle at that location, and a juvenile accomplice and a woman got into the car with him.

The following day, Hill allegedly pulled a stolen handgun on an individual and took their car keys and phone.

Police say they located Hill with the stolen vehicle and that he also had a stolen weapon that fit the description of the gun that was used in the robbery. Authorities say they also found a black mask.

Police records indicate that Hill told them his name was Terrance West and that he also gave a false date of birth to police.

Police say Hill had the weapon hidden in his jacket when police arrived at the scene.

Officials say an unidentified co-defendant told them in a taped statement that she was present at the time the car was stolen and that Hill was a participant in the theft. Police also arrested a juvenile co-defendant in connection with the incident.

Hill faces several charges including robbery, auto theft, receiving stolen property, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
