LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Louisville Metro Police arrested a man who they allege stole property that belonged to Louisville Metro Housing.

Police arrested Keith Ford, 52, on Wednesday afternoon at his home in the 1200 block of Central Avenue, between Utah Avenue and Montana Avenue, after police say he stole four refrigerators belonging to Metro Housing.

Police records state that the refrigerators were stolen on Nov. 16 and 23 from a business located at 3225 South 7th Street.

Investigators say Ford gained access to the unit both times by cutting through a fence and then cutting the lock off a storage unit.

Police say Ford was recorded on surveillance video on both dates.

Officers went to Ford's home on Tuesday and found two of the stolen appliances outside next to the garage, according to the arrest report.

Police have charged Ford with two counts of burglary. He is being held on a $10,000 bond.
