The Arrow Fund holds fundraiser for animals' medical treatment

Posted: Updated:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - About 400 people did some holiday shopping today to benefit neglected animals with The Arrow Fund.

"We help the severe tortured, neglected animals and we get them immediate medical care," said Rebecca Eaves, founder of The Arrow Fund. "And then we treat them physically and mentally until we can get them back into a home, a loving home."

Money raised from Sunday's "Chili and Wreaths" event goes toward medical treatment of the animals.

Seasonal decor and pet treats for cats and dogs were also for sale. Adoptable animals, rescued by The Arrow Fund, were even on site for people to meet.
