LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A Louisville man, caught texting and talking on the phone inside a movie theater, was tazed during a confrontation with a deputy.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says Timothy Wagner, 49, was at the Rave Cinemas on Friday evening when people started complaining to management about his behavior.

Deputies were called, and when they asked him to leave, he tried to shove his way past a deputy to get back into the theater.

The deputy tazed him twice "with only minimal effect."

Wagner later admitted that he'd had a couple of drinks.

He was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing, resisting arrest and third-degree assault.
