LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Government officials have issued a warning to U.S. military members to watch their social media accounts.

The FBI says members of ISIS could be using the posts to track them for attacks.

Kentucky native and Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer was quick to respond to the warning. He posted on social media and his website, "ISIS targeting the U.S. military is like a sheep targeting a lion. I would hate for ISIS to go to anyone else's home and for me to miss the opportunity to meet and greet them. I live in Columbia, Kentucky. Oops, is that too much information? Oh well."

Meyer also made a post asking if any ISIS members want to drop by and join his book club.

Senator John Kerry warns the international effort to fight the terrorist group could take years.

"We are united and moving ahead on all fronts and that we will engage in this campaign for as long as it takes to prevail," Kerry said.

More than 60 countries and interest groups have joined the coalition to destroy ISIS.
