LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- After weeks on the run, police have finally arrested a woman prosecutors say improperly spent $21,000 meant for a local school.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Department says Allison Millar was taken into custody at 9:15 a.m. on Dec. 4.

A warrant was issued for Millar on Oct. 31. She was supposed to turn herself in at the Crawford County Judicial Complex a few days later, but she never did.

She is now facing 28 counts of theft.

Millar was the Executive Director of the Crawford County Youth Service Bureau, which houses the county's alternative school.

A probable cause affidavit alleges Millar took the money over a two-year period.
