City leaders searching for new home for iconic Louisville clock

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - It's time for the iconic Louisville clock to find another new home.

It has been at Theater Square since 2012, following a renovation that cost more than $1 million.

Vandals and the elements have done some damage to the clock, and it's no longer working.

City leaders say they hope to dismantle the clock after the holidays and store it until it can be repaired and moved.

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer said it's not known where the clock will land, but the goal is to find a safe and secure home and to keep the clock running.
