LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville woman has been arrested after police say she almost ran over a parent and two children at a bus stop last month.

It happened Nov. 25, at 4 p.m. at the corner of Cliff Ave. and Dresden Ave.

Police say a JCPS school bus was stopped at that location to let students off the bus. Two children had gotten off the bus, and a parent was waiting nearby, when police say 45-year-old Jennibeth Williams drove a dark-colored Dodge truck through the yard, between the bus and a corner house.

The parent and the two children had to dive for safety, according to the arrest report.

The truck drove by at such a high rate of speed that it threw mud onto the victims, police say.

Williams allegedly turned around and drove between the bus and the house again.

Police say Williams later admitted to driving the truck and said she "had trouble" with the adult parent who was standing outside the bus, and that she was "trying to scare her."

Williams was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with three counts of first degree wanton endangerment.
