Gas prices continue falling in many states

Posted: Updated:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Drivers across the country have been enjoying lower gas prices. Prices have fallen below $2 a gallon in more than a dozen states, including Indiana.

One of the lowest prices in the Hoosier state -- $1.91 -- was found in Franklin, Indiana, which is just south of Indianapolis.

That's according to the website gasbuddy.com.

Three states have stations selling gas for less $1.90 -- Oklahoma, Louisiana and Ohio.

But those low prices can be found at only a few stations.

The nationwide average stands at $2.55 a gallon, the lowest price the country has seen since October 2009.
