BOZICH | Finals Week quiz for fans of Cards, Cats, Hoosiers

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – No Kentucky, Louisville or Indiana basketball games until Saturday. This is the week of the season when games are reduced and exams are increased.

I hope you've been paying attention. It's time to test your knowledge of the local college basketball scene.

1. Louisville forward Montrezl Harrell is averaging 17 points and 10.4 rebounds. Name the last Louisville player to average a double-double for an entire season.

A. Pervis Ellison, 1989.

B. Clifford Rozier, 1994.

C. Samaki Walker, 1996.

2. Western Kentucky plays host to Louisville Saturday in Diddle Arena. If the Cards win, they'll finally pull even in the rivalry at 39 wins each. But the last WKU coach to beat U of L was:

A. Darrin Horn, 2007-08.

C. Ken McDonald, 2008-09.

1. Clifford Rozier was a double-double machine for the Cards, averaging 10.9 rebounds and then 11.1 during the two seasons he played for Denny Crum.

3. Rondo led UK in scoring in 2006 at 11.2 points per game. Sheppard averaged 13.7 for the 1998 NCAA champs. Groza led the 1947 Wildcats at 10.6 ppg.

6. The first player Ferrell can overtake in the 1,000-point club is Jeffries, who scored 1,008 points in two seasons at IU.

7. Michael Bradley set the record at 65.7 before bolting for Villanova.

8. The 2012 U of L team finished with 30 more turnovers than assists.

9. The Cards' 2013 NCAA champs ranked fourth in offensive efficiency and third on defense.

10. Tom Crean's first-year players have scored 40.7 of the 88 points the Hoosiers are averaging for 46.3 percent of IU's points.

11. When the Cards and Wildcats met in Rupp Arena three seasons ago, UK was ranked third and U of L fourth.
