Police arrest seven people on drug charges at Fairdale business

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they have arrested seven people after they executed a search warrant at a local business that doubled as a weekend night club.

According to arrest reports, it happened just after 8 p.m. Wednesday at a business at 10615 National Turkpike, near Mt. Holly Road, across the street from Coral Ridge Elementary School. 

Police did not identify the business.

Officers say they executed a search warrant there, and discovered suspected heroin, cocaine and marijuana, all packaged for sale, as well as digital scales, assorted ammunition and gun holsters.

On weekends, the business doubled as an informal night club where juveniles often congregated, according to the arrest reports.

Police arrested seven men, including 18-year-old Zach Blakley, 22-year-old Cody Curry, 27-year-old Rasean Harrison, 27-year-old Glenn Anthony Gray, Jr., 24-year-old Larance Harper, Jr. 27-year-old Anthony Woods, Jr. and 21-year-old Joshua P. Cook. All of them are charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
