LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- As much as $350 million will be spent to give Kentucky residents better access to the Internet.

An Australian-based investment firm will manage the project to lay 3,000 miles of fiber optic cables.

The project is meant to improve Internet access and cell phone service throughout the state.
