LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Obscenely inappropriate: that's how a judge describes a man's alleged crimes before increasing his bond from $500 to $30,000 full cash.

Max Chamberlain faced a judge Wednesday morning, charged with forcing his way into a home on Green Oak Drive, near the Greenbelt Highway, and holding the homeowners hostage.

Police say the 21-year-old broke into the home, forced the homeowners into the bedroom and exposed himself to them. One managed to escape and call police.

Police say Chamberlain threatened to harm the arresting officer as he was being taken to jail.

A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.
