U of L basketball players deliver toys to kids at Kosair

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- U of L basketball players made a special delivery on Christmas Eve.

"Put a smile on the children's faces would be a big moment in my life to help the kids out and bring them motivation would be a great moment for us," Anas Mahmoud said.

Mangok Mathiang and Anas Mahmoud helped distribute toys to sick children at Kosair Children's Hospital for an early Christmas surprise.

"She had a huge smile she's such a fan. Very big fan," Mahmoud said of one child the players visited.

The toy drive was created by former Card player Kyle Kuric his foundation Kyle's Korner.

Kuric started it when he was still playing at U of L.

The foundation collected more than 1,300 toys this year.
