RADCLIFF, Ky. (WDRB) -- Doors kicked in and cash stolen. Police say that's what happened at three Radcliff churches and so far, there are no leads as to who's responsible.

"It really hurts me deeply that somebody did this," said Rev. Harold Craig Jr., who leads the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. Police say his church was broken into early Tuesday morning.

"I feel highly violated," Craig said. "I feel like somebody actually attacked and robbed or broke in my house, messed with my children. Something like that."

Craig says several doors were kicked in, rooms ransacked, file cabinets ripped open, and whoever was inside found the petty cash box.

"Evidently, they pried that open as well, took the 150 dollars and thank the Lord, they left," he said.

While those involved did get away with some cash, they left all of the electronics inside the church untouched.

Police say cash was also the target at New Jerusalem Seventh Day Adventist Church, which is just down the street on Wilson Road. The third break in happened at a church on Logan Street.

Craig says it really bothers him that this crime spree came just before Christmas -- a time of giving.

"If it was somebody who may have needed money, they felt bad to support their children or get gifts or whatever, actually they could have come to the church, asked the church to help them, and we would have did the best we could," Craig said.

He hopes the people responsible can get the help they need before acting again.

Radcliff Police say they're looking for leads on the case, if you have any information about what happened, you're asked to call (270)-351-TIPS.
