LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Should Shepherdsville lower its occupational tax?

That's what the City Council is set to discuss during a meeting Monday evening.

The emergency meeting was called because the current tax, which is 1.5 percent, will expire at the end of the year and move back to one percent.

The city attorney says the money is needed and would be used for changes to the flood map and infrastructure improvements along I-65.

The council is expected to vote on the tax issue Tuesday.
