Elizabethtown police looking for suspect in Town Mall parking lot assault

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Elizabethtown police are looking for a suspect they say robbed a woman in the Town Mall parking lot Monday.

According to a Facebook post from the police department, the suspect is described as wearing a gray plaid hooded pullover, jeans, white shoes and a toboggan.

They say he approached a 61-year-old female in the lot, forcing his way into her vehicle and threatening to shoot her.

Police say the suspect assaulted the victim, who sustained multiple injuries to the face. The suspect allegedly demanded money and the vehicle keys then fled the area with the victim's purse in a dark colored Ford F150 extended cab with a bed cover.
