LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is charged with robbery after police say he ambushed his father outside his home.
According to an arrest warrant, it happened Jan. 4. That's when police say the victim went outside his home after losing power. When the victim stepped outside to check on the problem, police say two men dressed in black wearing red and blue bandannas were waiting for him.
Police say one of the men pointed a gun at the victim's head and ordered him to empty his pockets.
The victim struggled with one of the men and was able to knock the gun from his hand and remove his bandanna. That's when the victim told police he realized the attacker was his son, 25-year-old Shaun Logsdon.
According to court documents, Logsdon then "tried to tell victim they were just kidding."
Both men ran away before police arrived. Police caught up with Logsdon early Wednesday. He was arrested and charged with first degree robbery.
