LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An explanation will have to wait. The coroner's office says it's not ready to release the cause of death for a 4-year-old boy.

The coroner is gathering toxicology and other test results before determining how Hayden Dukes died. We're told that could take up to six weeks.

Police charged the boy's father, Christopher Bruck, with aggravated battery. They say he hit his son in the head.

Court documents say the boy fell and hit his head on the floor.

The results of the tests may determine if Bruck is charged with murder.
