LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - After leading by as much as 13 points in the second half, No. 5 Louisville lost to North Carolina, 72-71 in dramatic fashion.

The Tar Heels took the lead with eight seconds left on a driving floater by preseason All-American Marcus Paige.

The Cardinals raced back down the floor, and an open corner 3-pointer by senior Wayne Blackshear missed off the back iron.

Sophomore Terry Rozier got the rebound, but his last-second shot clanged off the backboard and the front rim, giving UNC the upset win.

Rozier led Louisville with 25 points, five rebounds and five assists.

The 14-2 Cardinals next host Virginia Tech on Tuesday at the KFC Yum! Center.
