LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Louisville Metro Police arrested a man they say robbed a pharmacy, but was no match for the victim, who was more than willing to fight back.

Wesley Gatlin, 27, was arrested on Sunday morning at the Rite Aid Pharmacy, located at 8014 Bardstown Rd., according to police records.

Officials say Gatlin entered the store and went to the pharmacy at the back of the store. Police state that Gatlin then went behind the counter and said that he was armed with a handgun.

Police records indicate that Gatlin ordered a victim to go to the back of the pharmacy area, but things didn't go as Gatlin planned. Investigators say the victim began to fight with Gatlin, and was able to get control of him, holding him down until police arrived.

Authorities say the victim was injured during the struggle with Gatlin.

Gatlin is charged with robbery and he is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
