LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jeffersontown Police say they've arrested the former general manager of a local gun store after he stole over $10,000 from the company.

According to Jeffersontown Police, 41-year-old Kevin Kerr was employed as the general manager of Lotus Gunworks near the intersection of Watterson Trail and Ruckriegel Parkway from Jan. 5 2013 to Nov. 15, 2014.

During that period, police say Kerr stole over $10,000 from the store by shorting the deposits.

Kerr was arrested on Friday afternoon and charged with theft by unlawful taking of an amount over $10,000.
