LMPD officer faces perjury charges for testimony against arrestee

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An LMPD officer accused of lying to a Grand Jury appeared before a judge Monday, facing charges of perjury and false swearing.

Leslee Wagner is charged with two counts of felony perjury and two counts of false swearing.

She is accused of giving inaccurate information during a grand jury presentation regarding an arrest she made.

The defendant in that case was indicted as a result of her testimony.

Wagner's attorney pleaded not guilty on her behalf.

The LMPD officer was also ordered to have no contact with the man she testified against.
