Kentucky State Police launch program to stop impaired and distracted drivers

Posted: Updated:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police have launched a new program aimed at stopping impaired and distracted drivers.

Operation RAID runs through Jan. 24. It's meant to reduce collisions on Kentucky roadways.

Every state police post will use specific data to identify where most crashes have happened, their causes, and when they happened.

KSP posts will increase enforcement in those areas in hopes of cutting down on dangerous drivers.
