LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The Louisville Cardinals bounced back from their loss Saturday in a big way, dominating Virginia Tech in a 78-63 at the KFC Yum! Center.

The game was never really as close as the final score indicates.

The No. 6 Cards held a 19-point lead at halftime and the margin neared 30 at points in the second half.

Senior guard Chris Jones continued his solid play of late, finishing with seven points and 11 assists in 30 minutes.

All four other Louisville starters scored in double figures, led by sophomore guard Terry Rozier with 16 points.

The 15-2 Cardinals have three days to prepare for one of the biggest games remaining on their schedules.

Louisville hosts No. 4 Duke on Saturday at noon.
