LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Grayson County Sheriff's Office says a missing couple was spotted in Manning, South Carolina Monday.

Thirteen-year-old Cheyenne Phillips and 18-year-old Dalton Hayes were spotted at a Walmart in the town.

They were still traveling in the red 2006 Toyota Tacoma with Kentucky tag 0050CD.

Police say there was a gun in the vehicle when it was stolen and the teens may be in possession of that weapon.

According to a press release, Cheyenne was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black sweat pants and brown and pink cowboy boots.

Hayes was wearing a pair of light colored, dirty blue jeans, a UK Wildcats short sleeve shirt and black tennis shoes.

Police do not know which way they went when they left the Walmart.

The couple hasn't been seen since Jan. 4. They escaped police in Breckenridge County a few days later and officers thought they may have been staying with friends.

Police say Hayes is currently only charged with custodial interference. When asked about the underage relationship he said, " We're not worried about that right now."

Earlier Wednesday Hayes' family pleaded for him to come home

"Please come home," his mother, Tammy Martin, said. "We love and miss you all and we need you home and safe. Come home before someone is really, really, hurt."

Anyone with information is encouraged to call their local law enforcement agency.
