(LEBANON JUNCTION, Ky.) -- A Bullitt County man faces charges for allegedly murdering a Lebanon Junction woman.

Kentucky State Police say 18 year old Austin Allen was arrested yesterday afternoon for the shooting death of 37 year old Tina J. Zamora.

Police were called to a home on Walnut Street near Main Street in Lebanon Junction about 1:40 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, Allen was being restrained by neighbors of the woman. That's when they took Allen into custody.

Investigators don't have a motive for the shooting, but they believe Allen stole the handgun used in the murder from a home nearby earlier in the day.

Trooper Jeff Gregory says Lebanon Junction is a quiet place and he typically doesn't get a lot of calls to the area. Neighbors tell WDRB that Lebanon junction is a close knit community and that the victim was a mother of three young children.

Allen is in the Bullitt County Detention Center charged with burglary and murder.   An autopsy is scheduled today for Zamora at the Kentucky State Medical Examiner's office.
