Charges against Louisville Chief Financial Officer dismissed

Posted: Updated:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There is good news for a Louisville city official caught in an embarrassing and very public situation.

On Friday, a judge dismissed alcohol intoxication and disorderly conduct charges against Louisville's Chief Financial Officer.

Steve Rowland and Democratic Caucus Director Elizabeth Hoffman were arrested after the two were found having intimate relations inside a car in a restaurant parking lot.

As part of a deal, Rowland showed proof of completing community service, and agreed there was enough evidence for prosecutors to move forward with the case.

He is still on unpaid leave.
