LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Kentucky held its spot as the top-ranked team in college basketball in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll, but Louisville dropped four spots to 10th after the Cardinals lost to Duke Saturday.

The Wildcats, who play host to Vanderbilt Tuesday night, earned 63 of 65 first-place votes for the second consecutive week. The other two went to Virginia. The Wildcats and Cavaliers are the two remaining unbeaten teams but UK has been ranked first from the beginning of the season.

Louisville, which plays at Pittsburgh Sunday, was ranked sixth last week. Rick Pitino's team is now ranked 10th one spot behind Iowa State and one ahead of Kansas.

Indiana, which has won four of five Big Ten games, made the poll for the first time this season. The Hoosiers moved from 30th to 23rd after defeating Penn State and Illinois last week.

Indiana has a home game against No. 13 Maryland Thursday and then the Hoosiers travel to Ohio State Sunday.
