LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- More than 350 boats and RVs will be on display this week at the Kentucky Exposition Center, as regional retailers hope to sell their newest models.

The Louisville Boat, RV and Sportshow will open Wednesday and organizers say they hope to attract thousands of potential buyers.

"We have everything from Kayaks to cruisers, and everything from pull behinds to drivable motor homes," said Pam Lafollette of the Louisville Boat, RV and Sportshow.

Salesman Don Salyer of Northside RV said the Lexington-based dealer has been coming to the Louisville show for ten years. According to Salyer, they sell more RVs at this show than they do at those in larger markets.

"You're going to get people coming from all over, not just Louisville," he said. "You're going to get people from Nashville, Charleston, its a really really good show."

According to Lafollette, dealers are selling the newest models at the best prices.

Salyer said Northside RV has worked with manufacturers to offer the best price possible.

"We're coming to sell these things. We're going to be price competitive," he said. "If you want an RV, you're going to get a nice RV at the Louisville show."

But none as nice as the RV Salyer was showing off ahead of opening day.

The $370,000 motor home includes a master bedroom with queen bed, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, two 42 inch televisions, and a fireplace.

Salyer said they are prepared to sell the RV well below its retail price. He guesses it will sell for around $285,000.

But if that's a tad out of your price range, Salyer said the RVs start around $12,000.
