LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- JCPS officials have confirmed that police searched Central high School for a possible gun Tuesday morning.

According to JCPS spokesman Ben Jackey, police were called to the school at 1130 W. Chestnut around 7:15 a.m.

School officials called police after receiving reports of that someone threatened to bring a gun to school today. Jackey says police searched the school as a precaution.

Police finished searching around 8 a.m. No weapon was found.

There have been two recent gun threats to JCPS schools that turned out to be pranks -- one at Stuart Middle School and one at Highland Middle School
