LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man who they say stole a woman's iPhone during a drug transaction.

Samuel Lopez, 19, was arrested on Monday afternoon, after police say he along with his juvenile brother and another unidentified male met up with the victim and a second person on the night of Oct. 21, 2014.

Police say Lopez and the other males were meeting up with the victim and other individual to conduct a marijuana transaction. According to the arrest report, the victim told police that Lopez jumped through a vehicle window, struck her in the head while armed with a black handgun and demanded money.

Officials say Lopez and the other two males then stole the victim's iPhone, which had a value of more than $500.

Authorities say Lopez took photos of himself with the phone. The pictures were then stored in the victim's iCloud account. The victim was able to identify Lopez through the images.

Lopez was arrested and charged with robbery and receiving stolen property.
