LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A foodie favorite in Louisville is closing its doors at the end of February.

After 14 years in business, Palermo Viejo will soon serve its last meal.

The owner said in a Facebook post that he wants to spend more time with his family.

As for the future, he'll rent out the Bardstown Road property and is looking into possibly bottling his father's Chimmi-Churri recipe.

The restaurant will close February 21st.
