LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Dozens of people crowded the steps of Metro Hall to show their support for life -- and gubernatorial candidate Hal Heiner joined them.

Right to Life supporters of all ages rallied and carried posters. Some shared personal stories that shaped their opinions, including a woman whose aborted daughter would have been 29 years old today.

"I was relieved at first, but started having regrets, buried it deep and forgot about it, so I wouldn't have to deal with fact that I let someone kill my child and throw them away like garbage," said Peggy Strange.

A statewide Rally for Life takes place on Feb. 5 in Frankfort.
