LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jeffersontown Police say they've arrested three people for allegedly trafficking large amounts of prescription pills from Michigan to Kentucky.

Kevin Rigby, Sr., age 50, 35-year-old Gabriel Harris and 33-year-old Amber Beaumont were taken into custody just before 7:30 p.m. Monday near the Mall St. Matthews.

Police say they were found to be in possession of over $16,000 in cash.

Officers also allegedly found thousands of prescription pills -- including Opana, oxycodone, Xanax and hydrocodone -- at a hotel room that the suspects were using.

Both Harris and Rigby are from Detroit, according to police. Beaumont is from La Grange, Ky.

All three were arrested and charged with complicity to trafficking in a controlled substance.
