CRAWFORD | Louisville announces 2015 football schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Atlantic Coast Conference today released its composite football schedules for next season, finalizing the dates for University of Louisville's football team for 2015.

The Cardinals, as previously announced, will open the season against SEC powerhouse Auburn on Sept. 5 in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. It will be just the second meeting between the schools.

The Cards will play three straight home games after that, including a Thursday night game against Clemson on Sept. 17.

U of L faces Houston at home on Sept. 12 and Football Championship Subdivision opponent Samford on Sept. 26.

It follows that with road games at N.C. State (Oct. 3) and Florida State (Oct. 17). Boston College will visit Louisville on Oct. 24, with the Cards following that with a Friday night game at Wake Forest on Oct. 30.

The home conference schedule closes out with Syracuse (Nov. 7) and Virginia (Nov. 14). The Cardinals finish conference play at Pittsburgh on Nov. 21, and close out their season at rival Kentucky on Nov. 28.
