LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Children at Kosair Children's Hospital received a special delivery Friday morning.

Members of the U.S. Army's 11th Aviation Command visited the children and dropped off some stuffed animals. The stuffed animals were donated by soldiers from the Army Reserve unit during their monthly training at Fort Knox.

"Out soldiers in our unit -- they volunteered to collect these animals and put them together, and they were told about this operation," said one serviceman. "So just out of benevolence, soldiers just wanting to help."

The soldiers collected about 60 stuffed animals.
