LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- No threat was found after police conducted a sweep at Eastern High School this morning after reports that a student planned to bring a gun to school.

According to LMPD spokesman Ben Jackey, security at the school was increased in order for LMPD and school officials to conduct a sweep of the building.

Jackey says that's standard protocol whenever there's a threat involving a gun. Students are being kept in classrooms while officers conduct the sweep.

The all-clear was given around 10 a.m.
