LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Fire officials on Tuesday say it's too early to tell what caused an apartment building to go up in flames in the Iroquois neighborhood.

Thick smoke poured from the first and second floors of the complex on Hazelwood Avenue just after 8 p.m. Monday. No one was hurt, but firefighters called for extra help and equipment.

Residents from 20 apartments were kept away from their homes overnight because of the damage.

The Red Cross is assisting those who have been displaced.
