LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The funeral services have been set for a man who tried to stop a robbery and ended up being shot in the chest.

Andrew Key-Roper, 31, was killed while trying to stop a man from robbing his brother in January.

Visitation will take place Saturday from noon to two p.m. at Refuge in Kentucky Church, with the funeral to follow.

Family members say Key-Roper's brother was being robbed at the Russell Apartment complex last week when he stepped in to help.

Police charged Isaiah Jenkins and Maunyeh Haggard with murder and robbery.

The family set up an account in Key-Roper's name at Fifth-Third Bank to help with funeral expenses.
