LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two ramps will be closed this weekend on Interstate 65 in Bullitt County while crews make repairs.

That's according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The repairs are part of a $20.7 million project for removal and replacement of various sections of concrete pavement across a 20-mile section of I-65.

Two ramps will be closed for repairs this weekend at the interchange with KY 61 in Lebanon Junction (Exit 105). This work was originally scheduled for mid-January, but had to be postponed due to a winter snow storm.

The exit ramp from southbound I-65 to KY 61 and the entrance ramp from KY 61 to southbound I-65 will be closed at the same time (see map below). These ramps are scheduled for closure from 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9.

Motorists on southbound I-65 should follow the signed detour via southbound I-65 to westbound KY 245 (Exit 112) to southbound KY 61 and proceed to Lebanon Junction.

Motorists on KY 61 in Lebanon Junction can access the interstate by following the signed detour via northbound KY 61 to KY 434 to KY 313 and proceed to I-65.

Concrete repairs on the driving lanes of I-65 in Bullitt County have been completed and all lanes are now open. The speed limit has been returned to 70 MPH.
