LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say five people were arrested late Thursday night -- including one who was on home incarceration for murder -- after heroin was discovered inside a Louisville apartment.

It happened just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday at an apartment on Golden Turtle Circle, just east of the intersection of Goldsmith Lane and Newburg Road.

Police say they executed a search warrant at one of the apartments there. The target of the warrant was 18-year-old Thomas Biggers, a man on home incarceration for a murder indictment. (In March 2014, Biggers was indicted for the Jan. 6 murder and robbery of Brian Przybylek during an alleged drug transaction at the Guardian Court Apartments, near Preston Highway, according to court documents. He has not yet been convicted.)

Inside the apartment, officers allegedly found heroin, packaged for sale, along with digital scales and marijuana.

Several people were found in and around the apartment and were arrested, including Biggers himself, 43-year-old Tabetha Allen, 22-year-old Valarie Hindman,18-year-old Kayla N. Jones and 25-year-old Stephen Hindman.

All of them were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
