LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - One Las Vegas hotel that has stood for more than four decades has gone up in smoke.

The Clarion Hotel and Casino was imploded early Tuesday morning.

The more than 200 room hotel off the Vegas strip was the only Clarion Hotel in the U.S. to offer gaming. During its more than 44-year history, the building had several bankruptcies and
closures.
The property also changed ownership and names several
times.

The hotel closed in September after it was purchased for more than $22 million.

The developer has not released plans for the property, but do say plans are going to be big.
