Authorities identify victim killed in Parkland neighborhood homicide
A man was killed on the morning of Feb. 2 on Grand Avenue, near 32nd Street.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The name of a man shot and killed in the Parkland neighborhood on the morning of Feb. 2 has been released by officials.
Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Bob Jones has identified the victim as 39-year-old James Hall. The coroner says Hall died from multiple gunshot wounds.
LMPD homicide detectives were dispatched to Grand Avenue, near 32nd Street just after 5 a.m. on Feb. 2 on a report that a victim was injured.
When investigators arrived, Hall was discovered on a sidewalk, dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
A large area close to an apartment building was blocked off with crime scene tape, while police searched for clues.
LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell has said police are still searching for a suspect.
