LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man says he was assaulted and robbed after four men forced their way into his home.

According to an arrest report, it happened Wednesday evening. That's when the victim says four men kicked in the door to his residence. Police say the victim knew one of the alleged attackers and "recognized him instantly."

Police say the victim told police he has known that suspect, 30-year-old Jason Nguyen, "for a long time."

According to the arrest report, the victim was choked, punched, thrown to the floor, and kicked repeatedly.

Police say the victim told them Nguyen and his accomplices took his tools, iPhone and $3,000 in cash.

Nguyen was being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on one charge of first degree robbery.
