LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The World's Greatest Hobby Tour has made its stop in Louisville.

A two-day event at the downtown convention center is all about the hobby of model railroading.

Everything from building trains and making them historically accurate ... all the way down to the layout and paint.

The tour includes 50,000 square-feet of locomotives, more than 200 booths and 100 trains for kids to play with.

A preacher from Knoxville says he always had a dream of becoming a steam locomotive engineer.

"I have a workshop in my home," model train builder Dave Queener said. "I do model pilot work for a German toy train company and then they let me come exhibit the models so I get to meet the public.  World's Greatest Hobby Show is a treat."

The show continues at the convention center Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets are $10, but kids 16 and younger are free.
