LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Owners of Little Greek, a restaurant based in Tampa, Florida, are currently searching for a location for the company's first Louisville restaurant.

"We've been wanting to come to Louisville," said Little Greek President Nick Vojnovic, in a news release. "We're in the last stages of finalizing a site."

"The food is amazing, and we are excited about bringing Little Greek's fresh, homemade dishes to the Louisville area," said Tom Burress, an executive for the restaurant. Burress and his wife, Tina, are the owner/operators for the Louisville location.

The restaurant offers freshly prepared Greek dishes created from traditional recipes. Many of the locations are open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. The restaurant offers dine-in, take-out and catering.

There are currently 19 locations in Arkansas, Florida and Texas.

The company recently celebrated its 10th anniversary.

"The Greek-Mediterranean segment is exploding in the United States," Vojnovic said. "Americans are discovering this healthy, delicious cuisine."
